1. This is true, anime, manga, and games are more expensive than in the U.S., and salaries here are lower. I still collect 2hu stuff over here but it's tough because it's expensive and houses are small so it's hard to display everything. I spend several hundred dollars at each Reitaisai but I make a lot more than the average Japanese.

3. This is also true. The vast majority of Japanese people are mindless soulless NPC retards... just like people in every country. The rituals and formalities are a way to exert power over other people. As I mentioned before, I just lean into being foreign which lets me skip all of this stuff. I refuse to work at Japanese companies, so it doesn't hurt my career.

4. This person doesn't get it. You Will Never Be Japanese. You will always be treated as an exotic zoo animal or a sinister alien. And Japanese women thinking gaijin women are sluts, hmmm... why is that? Why do all non-Western cultures seem to think that? Maybe it's because they talk, dress, and act like sluts. So western women made their bed on this one, no sympathy from me here. And FWIW, Western women who dress modestly and are polite don't seem to have as many problems. Really makes you think.
