Find a source of motivation I guess. Something you can feel passionate about and sink a lot of time and effort into so that afterwards you can be satisfied about it, no matter the actual result.

The point is to break the inertia of doing the same every day, stumbling through life without caring about anything. I've been trying to find something that brings back the joie de vivre, I'll let you know if I ever figure it out.

Personally the whole circular thing is exasperating. You accomplish nothing due to not even giving a shot, you just feel bad. At least by trying and failing you learn and could even look at the positive side and convince yourself that the mere act of trying is a step forward.
