Sorry man, but pop is my weak point. I just don't have very much at all! If you'd like to see some, though, hit me with a name or, better yet, share some yourself - make the thread what you want it to be.

I can definitely agree with the 60's, 70's and Okinawa music, but the stuff is hard to find - even more so than anything Japanese. The only other 70's-ish music I have probably isn't the style you're thinking of, but it's worth a shot, anyways:

Yellow Magic Orchestra helped pioneer the electronic genre (Or so I'm told!) and they've got a pretty groovy sound. This here is their second release from 1979, "Solid State Survivor", but if people are interested I can put up a discography! Please, tell me one way or another, though - my connection is a slow one, and each of these albums takes an effort on my part.
