Battler goes to meet Rudolf, but finds a half-dead "Beatrice" outside of the chapel next to Rudolf's corpse. He says that he'll never forgive her for killing his family, but he'll let her live as long as she promises to never kill anyone again, since he doesn't want Shannon to die. She goes to get some first-aid, but runs into Eva on the way, who tries to shoot her. Beatrice is willing to accept her death, but the bloodthirsty Yasu personality awakens and attacks Eva.
