I'm in the same boat. Personally, I remember people being mocked for attending cons. Just a few months ago, in a chan from my country, people were discussing going to an anime convention and being total faggots about it. Oh, that's unfortunate. I've thought about using non-standard characters for passwords and the like, but my worry is that years down the line something foolish with encoding or input will ruin me.

It went something like this.

I flashed my BIOS then my OS wouldn't boot up. I tried just about everything including removing the mobo battery and clearing the CMOS, reformatting my OS (which I just did the day prior). For two days I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get any OS to boot up.

Then it hit me, the mobo flash reset my RAM timings. The settings were off and the voltage was too low. I even saw that they were off when playing around in the BIOS but it just didn't register in my mind to fix them. Set the timings and voltage correctly and reinstalled my OS.

This was my face.
