Interesting. I'm quite fond of Sendai/Myoukou/Tone sisters' illustrator, except that his style doesn't blend in with the styles that the most of the other illustrators opted for.

Whereas the above illustrator didn't try to match his style to the project's overall style enough, I think the illustrator of Chitose/Hiyou/RJ (and a few others) tried too hard to blend his style (or something), and that makes his characters unappealing to me.

This RJ for example, while not representational of his usual style, looks really really cute.
