It seems rather flexible though, as this is a stark contrast to her former game pieces.

I can accept Jessitrice in the end if, as other have already pointed out, it's not some grimdark Romeo and Juliet mass murder. I'd much rather her be manipulating Kanon too, enough of this "Well the culprit is bad, but they had good intentions!" shit.

Jessica loved, or loves Battler, he haphazardly promised her something, she was or felt betrayed, wants to exact revenge, also ties up the "Your presence here causes everyone to die" bit that piece Beatrice said in EP4.
