Say, is there any way to reset your location, or warp back to town, or something?

I was exploring a ruined building north of town, and after exiting through a crawlspace of some sort, and hoping down into some shallow water, I find myself stuck. I can't go back the way I came, and the closest thing to another exit is the to the south, where the game tells me that there is evidence the cave was artificially collapsed.
