I'm extremely glad it blew up in their face. What they did was pure blatant greed that is borderline malicious. Now they're out a huge amount of money because they took this on entirely as a solo venture and hired multiple translators and editors in an attempt to speed through the localization process to capitalize on the demand of the title but now they're stuck with no partners, massive amounts of bad PR, and nobody wanting to work with them because of how they stabbed their previous partner in the back and cut them out entirely despite doing fantastic work on their previous titles simply because they wanted all the money.

So they're not willing to license the koihime musou series because the voices are so expensive and they don't want to release it without voices but also don't want to do a kickstarter for it so they can safely afford voices, but they're totally fine with making their own title, doing a kickstarter for it when it's over halfway done with development, making it all-ages, AND not even voicing it? This is literally some SP tier shit.
