You're welcome, which titles are you looking forward to the most?
>Sora Amakawa
interesting, I'm not put off by her bimbo looks at all but generally need to be in a certain mood to maximally enjoy it. a few of her releases did catch my eye already though. It's just that there are so many hag kinos every month already and I also need to make time for the holy trinity of Nao | Akarin | Aipan so a lot of other actresses end up joining a backlog. Thanks for the recommendation!

i'm glad, hopefully it means you don't need to double check/translate everything one-by-one just to get a basic impression of what's on offer. but, i do recommend doing that for the ones that really appeal to you based on my brief

maybe you're already a hagchad and you don't even know it...
which releases appeal to you most in this July batch?

>weird
surely this isn't weird at all? her overt visual eroticism is off the charts, the most mundane pictures of her get me going kek

>>43730036
i feel like she excels in pretty much any role. her (over)acting and facial expressions, intensity etc is like a doujin milf brought to life

KEK yes i do remember the conversation
and yes, I think I know what you mean now. Maybe it's because your mind's eye is now open to the infinite fractal subdivisions and possibilities of hag ripeness. I'm sure your skills have improved but at the same time, all this new knowledge means we can overthink the granularity of everything and our sense of perception becomes burdened. There's just too much complexity in the study of hags...

Your points about older titles changing the perception of even current ripeness levels are very interesting. I'd like to add to this with the idea of 'Video Primacy'; how much weight should we put on an actress' roles/body of work relative to the impression she gives us in isolation and out-of-context/character? This is especially relevant given most JAV featuring mature women consists of narrative drama and storylines rather than gonzo. Someone like Reiko Kobayakawa has basically been doing (step)mother/-in-law roles as early as I can remember and so her ripeness seems extremely constant and stable in a Semi-Classic range. Does our perception of hag ripeness change when there's a marked shift in the types of roles performed over the span of an actress' career? I personally think the catalog is extremely important to influencing perception since the Japanese Adult VIDEO itself is our primary interface with an actress rather than the snippets from social media or other infrequent out-of-character appearances. Observing this doctrine might be why I struggle to conceptualise Sae as anything more than a Semi since I can't rationalise her as unequivocally Classic from what I've seen of her either on social media and especially not from her roles.
