It isn't about their music getting boring. I don't think I'll ever get tired of nakata's music. At least the good stuff in my opinion. Ageing should not have nothing to do with it unless you were only into them for their looks. I don't like that. I think I just set my standards for nakata's music and perfume, pretty high. I know what nakata is capable of making so it's really annoying when I see him come out with a song like Tokyo girl, which is just cheesy top 20 radio pop shit edm. Nakata has many many years of musical knowledge. He studied music theory and I think he even studied sound engineering. It seems like such a waste that he's just making regular pop music sometimes when he has all this knowledge. Why does he just want to be like everyone else. But I'm ranting. I remember when I use to watch happy, perfume no chandelier house, a ton of lives and interviews. I remember the first time I found daijobanai. At that point I hadn't heard their albums yet only seen music videos, but was hooked. My first impression of daijobanai was this is so girly but I like it a lot. It's super fun, catchy, and I want jump and dance. I remember listening to all their albums and loving them although I felt jpn was kind of off. One night, I decided to watch all their music videos, finally stopping at 1mm because it was like 2 am and I had to sleep. Interesting how I stopped right there. Right before the start of CE era. Well The next night, I start watching sweet refrain, then cling cling, then pick me up, then relax in the city. And realizing something was off. It didn't really feel like perfume anymore. And when the star train teaser came I was really getting nervous. But the thing that finally made me snap was flash. I remember everyone on tumblr being like, "omg nakata's done it again, he made a masterpiece, he's back". They were all praising it so much. Like no this still isn't perfume. This isn't that interesting. This is a zedd rippoff. Don't you guys realize you deserve more from nakata. Idk after I started masturbating to them that special happy perfume feeling went away even faster. I've been wanting to say these things for so long but never had the guts to post any where. Sorry if I don't make sense I'm writing this pretty quickly. I probably left a lot of things out.
