I wish it were that simple. The source script looks like this. If you're trying to prevent crashes you can't really edit it directly from items.txt. There are two solutions. You can either delete the entire string starting with -52.000 below each item with a danmaku effect and change the 1 above that line to a 0 to remove the pattern entirely.

And hope that fixes it (it's the hopefully stable script I've currently got going with it). As far as just reducing the number of danmaku, that's not possible without the source code. Which I would release the instant the Chinese promise not to flay me alive for it.
