Nope, the other one, 蘇りの魔王. He managed to make the supporting character look even worse than 王国へ続く道's Aegir (whom my brain automatically replaces with Wortenia Senki's Ryouma), though I suppose Hikage Eiji's design can be either a big hit or a massive dumpsterfire.

That's what the side stories are, anon. Argonaut, Knights of Fianna, and Erebus/Seven Days of Death all revolve around the ancient/past heroes' way of passing the torch. Argonaut is the most poignant of all the SS desu, and the in-universe shilling for it becomes quite reasonable once you've read the story. Also, bonus points for Not!Ais having an actual character in Argonaut.
