It's kind of a pointless exercise looking at AKB sales in this comparison. Their singles' senbatsu are comprised of girls from all groups, and they're given the most media and management attention of all groups and spike at unexpected times. At the very least you can see how important media campaigning is by looking at LabRet.

We can see that SKE is actually dropping hard. Worth noting that SKE was pulling 500k+ sales first week back in 2012, so they've really under-performed in sales this year.

I don't know what to make of HKT. They don't seem to be picking up much pace.

NMB fluctuated a bit over last year, but seems to be back to making steady progress. Not much data to go off yet here though.

Nogizaka are/were definitely on the rise. It'll be interesting to see how the scandal affects sales on next single. my bet is not much
