I agree, the softness is what makes it good. But it's still the same material, just more dense, so I guess it's just for those who don't like super soft material. Same thing with the pink/transparent RIDE variations.

Speaking of RIDE, their NLS+Ride collab hole looks kind of "eh" http://en-nls.com/pict1-42343 530g 18cm seems nice though.
