Well monsters as a whole apparently agreed with the changes, given they willingly gave up their own power to help Lilith change things.

As such, human men became recognized as in effect "males of their own species" by every monster, and that affection/desire resulting from it is part of what makes men's essence the ideal food for monsters (since desire is linked to both the taste of mana and to the mana-multiplying effect mamono mana has when interacting with other types of mana).

That said, some monsters do have somewhat different tastes, like how bicorns like having the mana of other monsters mixed in with their husband to form a sort of "cocktail."

A harem of 5 or 6 is "easy," so presumably beyond that it gets progressively unlikely that the harem will grow further.

Note that the profile only says that is an "easy" number for the harem to top out at. The limit could be a good deal higher.
