I think the reason why she was so shocked at that question and gave the type of answer that she did is because of the pressure on them during interviews to not reveal anything off-script. Because of this all kinds of thoughts went through her head, from which song to bring up that's impressive to how she should probably not give any new information else she'd end up in the Metallica cage.

I need to mention this though, the reason they are so secretive and "scripted" during their interviews and on social media in particular is because they like to keep their personal lives separate from their professional lives. It's a combination of their parents and Amuse who have decided that they should be protected as much as possible since their fanbase is one of the more obsessive ones out there.

I can't say I don't blame them though, they could try for some simple things like even answering the typical idol interview questions they used to do in the past (what they're into currently, things or places that interested them while traveling, or something a little more personal like which songs they like at karaoke and what they're currently listening to.

I'm so sick and tired of the Metallica/BMTH answers, it's so obvious they're fake and I think they're actually losing metal cred by lying about it instead of having the "not giving a fuck" attitude that is what defines metal.

Again about the set lists, there was a band that played at a festival before Babymetal, which did not even come prepared with a set list. They asked the audience which songs they wanted to hear and said they don't give any fucks and they'd play anything, which they did.

Cologne concert was unexpectedly cut short when (probably) one of the girls said they couldn't continue in the sauna. They gave the "technical difficulties" excuse at the end but I don't believe it.

Stuttgart concert was planned to be short to avoid the same disaster that was Cologne.

Download UK had a 20 min monsoon which delayed them, they still performed their 30 minute set.

Download Paris had real technical difficulties where apparently a pedal that was supposed to start the playback audio malfunctioned and they had to find a replacement. The instrumental playback at the beginning of BABYMETAL DEATH just cut off right before the Kamis were about to start playing.
