Well to be perfectly honest it kind of looked like she blew that Coinlockers audition with her nervous singing (we'll never know though since that project epically imploded at that same time) and that seems to be something she struggles with, uneven vocals (listen to the recent songs she posted).

Other than that, yeah, it's probably the fact that she also won't suck staff/management dick (Nip showbiz makes Weinstein look like Mother Teresa), she seems to be pretty down to earth and content with being herself and looks at entertainment as a fun way to potentially make a decent living but doesn't have the ambition level where sucking crusty geriatric peener seems worth it.

...And also a metric ton of fucking bad luck, like seriously. Rainmaker indeed.
