Not the anon you're replying to either, but in my case, I already enjoyed photography as a hobby on the side, and originally got into dolls so I would always have something around to take photos of even when there was nothing else to photograph. That's why I'm looking for gear better than the macro lens I have -- it's good for what I normally do, but doesn't work too well for dolls.
