Oh shit, this is the perfect thread to ask, /trv/ didn't give me shit for an answer.

I'm in Japan right now and I want to see snow, but I don't want to go anywhere super touristy or expensive so I'm looking for a small onsen village.
Anyone know a little bit more about these locations? I'll take any recommendations but I realize this isn't the thread for this kind of questions. I might go to that Yunokami Onsen if nobody replies
