Is anyone else having trouble taking it easy?

My resting heartrate has increased by an average of 10 beats per minute since this has started to become more common. I pull up an interesting thread, I set it to refresh, and I look back a few seconds later and that message is there.

My heart skips a beat each time I see it. I can't relax.

I don't know if you've been paying attention to recent news, but WW3 is kicking off. Israel is getting extremely pissy and they've all but launched a full attack into Iran. Western countries, especially the U.S, are definitely going to support them.

WW3 will definitely begin if this happens and the draft will be reinstated. Prepare while you still can.

This is one of the main reasons why I could never live in Japan.

I'm not a drug user, but the control that the Japanese government holds over their citizens is frightening. The penalties they have for what we would see as relatively minor and victimless crimes are so extreme and the culture is so supportive of these things over there. Everything from the tattoos on your body to the substances that you ingest. Such a disregard for personal freedom and I don't care if tattoos are associated with Yakuza, it's not right that they treat anyone with any kind of tattoo like they're some kind of murderer.

They're in a peaceful country with a very low crime rate, but they got to that point by creating a restrictive and robotic society filled with people that blindly follow the laws and absurd prejudices without offering any resistance.
