I thought I had figured it out but apparently I was wrong.
When Zepar and Hurrdurr gave the hint about love I thought it had something to do with the second twilight, tearing apart those who are close.
So my theory was this: You could tear the duct tape used to repair the chain lock and leave the room, then use the duct tape to repair the chain from the outside.
It was always stated that RESETTING the chain from the outside was impossible, but nothing was ever said about joining it back together in the middle while the other half (the one connecting to the door) was already in its place, that should be easier to do than resetting the chain completely. That would also explain the "tear apart those who are close" thing because you're tearing apart the halves of the chain, and when you reach the Golden Land (outside of the room) you "resurrect" the love and join the chain again.

I don't which is stupider: the fact they wasted news time on this, or the fact they got their information wrong. I mean, if you're going to do something like this, at least get it right.
