Well, there are two different kinds of Amuse contracts. One, where Amuse is your talent management company. The other, where you are a member of an Amuse product (SG, BM, etc).

In the west, you often have your management make deals with studios for work. Amuse essentially self negotiates for girls that are in BM or SG or otherwise their own other groups.

It's a scary situation, but at least compared to other idol corporations, we haven't seen a lot of lawsuits, mistreatment and exploitation from Amuse.

The hush order and media blackouts they have is shitty though.
