Henpri shunts a lot of the side character and low-effort gag stuff off to background conversations, so you can largely ignore it if you want. It improved the pacing quite a bit.
That being said, I spent like 40% of my time in the backlog trying to catch up with that shit. I couldn't just let it go and I can't understand it when two people talk over each other in any language, let alone my third. God help me if they didn't put the background conversations in the backlog at all.
