Great taste. Wild and rather 'masculine' in a sense, but suited her so well. My other favorite style was in her first Cyzo appearance. The 2nd was great too, but I loved the exaggerated colors in the first pictorial.

The world was very different not too long ago. People were very liberal, open minded and non-judgemental in many aspects. People experienced the biggest common distribution of wealth in human history (the real boomers) and nobody was eager to spit in anyone's soup because there was no need to. People saw nudity as something natural and it was not uncommon to see naked teens in mainstream movies on TV or to find photo magazines in book stores all over. Only when America came to ultimate power, they globally banned all depictions of nudity of people under 18 in 1990. That was the first crusade. The second was only recently about 2016/17 as a direct effect of the digital globalization, when American mainstream discovered Japan's idol culture. We are now witnessing the last and final phase of banning not just nudity, but the female body as a whole. Not sure if you've caught the news, but Japan is considering to ban AKB48 (literally the biggest media act in the country's history) from the Olympic ceremony, because they fear Westerners will see them as an embarrassment and find out the members (of which are many under 18) are regularly posing in underwear and bikinis and label it CP.

It's not just about Japan or girls, but you can see a clear pattern of the global mind set drifting towards total authoritarianism. The internet could have been the greatest invention in human history with the potential to provide an equalization and liberalization of knowledge and thus raising the standard of wokeness, making people question the system. After all, a 'law' is merely an opinion issued at gun point. But instead it only numbs their minds and soaks them into a constant state of sleep walking, making them outright beg to give up their autonomy. Punishments become increasingly draconian too and most of the young generations grow up as de facto police drones, alarming at every potential breach of the 'laws' imposed on them. It's a sad and very disappointing development, but weak and cowardly individuals have an inherent need to be governed. I just wonder how they plan to control and stop every u18 female on this planet from recording themselves? These 'laws' are irrational by definition and will not prevail against human nature. Definitely not in our lifetime, there will be a day when people look back at our current prohibitive politics on sexuality and will shake their heads in disbelief.

Basically yes. But being an 'idol' usually encompasses to market your whole persona regardless of which niche. Example: You can be just a pop singer, but you can also be a pop idol. Being 'just' a lingerie model is not the same as being a gravure idol. There are some good documentary videos about idol culture. In essence it's the literal sense of the word: to be an ido to othersl. A beauty idol for women to aspire to, an idol to motive you at the work place etc. This is why pop idols always have a lot of motivating songs about working hard, follow your goals, mobilize your energy, hoping for love and so on. It gets shackey when you're not just an AV actress, but an AV idol like >>19567519 but in Japan it's no big deal to have a porn star in mainstream variety TV shows.
