The last manga reference I’d like to show is one a lot of people have likely not seen, the side story Forgery of the Purple Logic. Erika features as the star of this little spinoff, giving her plenty of screentime to show off her figure. There’s one scene in particular where Erika and Battler get wet from the rain and change clothes in the same room together. This culminates in a page in which Erika pushes Battler down while her dress is still only partially on. We get a look from Battler’s point of view, showing us a straight shot down Erika’s blouse. Sadly, this version of Erika seems to have gone for the more flat interpretation. However, there’s still some definite rises on her chest, small as may be. What’s more, as this is Battler’s perspective it’s given more credibility than normal.
