WTF, I just learned from this video that otakus are treated in Japan like the lowest of the low of society.

We gotta change this man, or else otaku culture will decline.

For example, in the video, it was stated that while anime is rising in popularity internationally, in Japan itself, it is a shame to your parents and ancient ancestors if you say you like anime.

I think the problem is that otakus are not recognized enough for their contributions to culture and economy and world peace.

So first things first, someone who could post this 5ch must tell otakus to take a bath, brush their teeth, get a haircut, shave their neckbeard, spray a little bit of perfume, and wear a fedora, and then tip their hats to females on the train to show otakus are respectable members of society.
