I imagine short scenes in my head all the time, with settings and characters stolen from various sources. They mostly fall in the category of wish fulfillment fanfics written by 12 year old Naruto fans, so I don't bother writing anything down. I hate my crippled imagination.

The worst thing is that I've been doing this for more than a decade and I enjoy these fantasies greatly, despite the fact that all of them are extremely similar. I've probably spent thousands of hours doing this and on many days it's primary source of entertainment. It's like I've found a reliable way to trick my brain into releasing some pleasure chemicals and I keep abusing it.

I wonder if there is a mental disorder for this thing.
