wish i had all those good ships while going for 2-4 kill, i was spending all my resources in development and 2-4A farming

For all the admirals that still can't clear 2-4: stop wasting resources for crafting and start exping your kanmusu in 2-4 node A till they're refitted and have 5 stars.
The common way to clear it is with 4 BB and 2 CV/CVL, there's no need for game breaking ships like Nagato sisters, Shoukaku sisters or any of the rarest kanmusu, the most common one will do since with the right strategy and equip they'll do fine.
This is my winning fleet, Fusou/Yamashiro are common drop and Ise/Hyuga drop often in 2-4 node A, the only one you really need to farm for is Akagi, she really helps, Mogamin was an extra since i had no CVL high enough to make a difference, and i really wanted to clear that map asap so went with her.

Regarding eqiupemnt, all 4 BB had Zuiun with 3 cannons, i don't remember atm but probably used other stuff like 20cm cannons to fill up spaces since had very few 41/35cm cannons at the time, Akagi was equipped with 2 red planes and 2 blue planes (red on last 2 slots), Mogamin had 2 20cm cannons and 2 Zuiun (night battle double attack helps for the killing blow).
The strat is easy, when you get all your fleet ready (remember: refit+5star+decent gear) go to 2-4 and try till you can get the right route (A > K > L > O > J, A > F > G > I > J), any other route = F5 or retire after the first battle since you wont be able to reach the boss with enough resources, or you'll just waste time reaching a side node.
For the actual progress, always use Line Abreast formation, after day battle push forward and don't seek night battle (left button) to save resources, if any of your kanmusu goes in the red before the boss node you'll probably want to retire, i'll leave this decision to your judgement.
For boss node use Line Ahead, the planes should help a ton with initial bombing phase and clean out any CL/DD or at least damage any BB/CA, pray the RNG goddess and go night battle if you didn't kill the boss right away.
