If any of you are using the Takoboto Android dictionary app (which I really like), I wanted to mention that I recently discovered an optional pitch accent option in the settings. I don't think they had it before, and the lack of it put me off of using it for a while, but most of the words I am looking up have simple and effective pitch accent charts. Recommend you all turn it on and try it.

On another note, is there any good media I can consume/read on mobile comfortably? Considering manga or LN raws. I wanted to play VNs, but that keeps me to my desktop, and my PC is unreliable these days, so I don't know how comfortable I am with that. A medium where I can easily go back and forth from my dictionary to the media is best for me.

Has anyone here played FF Crystal Chronicles: Remastered? I pre-ordered a Japanese Switch physical copy in 2019 or early 2020, and received it last month. Have not opened it yet. Been debating selling or keeping it, since I have no Japanese associates to play with, and the online function is region-locked.

I've always learned better when just reading regular texts (no Anki), but even with a game like this where this is not much talking, I want to understand what I'm reading and hearing. I progressed well with just reading manga and referring to dictionaries when needed. I bought this game with the intention of having improved my language skills by then, but my health continued to crash, and my willpower dipped. Still not feeling the best, but I want to play the game. Just don't want to be stressed when I do...advice? My copy of 日本神話大戦 is sitting at standby too, because the text was difficult and long-winded to read through as a novice.
