It's fine. The script is set to refresh the database every 5 minutes, but if you want to be safe you should probably wait at least 10 minutes like you said.

If the upload said it was successful, it's probably best that you contact one of us in the thread or through an e-mail so we can sort it out and prevent duplicate files.

Your questions were answered for the most part, but I'll just elaborate on some points a little.

You request and upload your own songs. You guys run the content of the stream, we just keep it alive and moderate it. You guys put up what you want to hear. Go to the Playlist & Requests section to search for a song, and simply request it. If you can't find your song by title, search artist instead, perhaps it's tagged in an odd manner. If you still can't find it, then search for the album.

If you can't find the song after a thorough search, you can upload it yourself. Uploads take about 5 minutes to load up on SAM, and they won't automatically be requested upon upload, so make sure to search for your song shortly after and request it yourself.
