I just had the longest battle in my life in Angelic Saga and I learned an important lesson. Never give in. This guy had his beserker up to super high attack and I had literally nothing. Spent my time stalling and eventually got a card to turn it into defense mode and defeat it with a hidden Miyabi.
He quickly defeated my Miyabi and continued to wail on me with his momentum but I chip damaged him to my level. If he was smart he would've just turtled up because I would've ran out of cards first, but I don't think he realized that.
Last turn he thought he had the win, knowing that my face up card didn't have enough attack to do damage but then I drew the book and took him out (screenshot shows me before I change the buffed left card into attack mode and attack his Framboise to win.)
Man, this feels pretty nice.
