Can anyone explain to me what exactly a 描き下ろし (かきおろし) is in the context of manga?

Dictionaries (even Japanese ones) only give definitions for 書き下ろし (which seems to refer to something different in the context of literary works).

Is it possible to strip all the crap like P, ichi, news, JMDICT (English) from cards created via Yomichan without losing the actually important info like n, uk, vi, vt, adj-na and so on?
