Oh, it is. You have to assume that anything Danny says is exaggerated to the moon and back. He says shit like this constantly -- "we can't sell wigs anymore because too many people complained about imperfections" (after someone posted, on their own blog, non-aggressively, about a wig they received that had actually been sewn incorrectly and wouldn't fit the doll.)

If one single person complains he will go after them on social media, ban them from his store, and take away the ability to buy a specific thing from everyone else as some kind of fucked-up 'punishment' that only makes sense in the land of the narcissistic: "if you had Behaved you could still have X, but since you are so Ungrateful and hate my Wabi-Sabi Art Pieces so much, well now no one can have this. If you have a problem, fans of this item, complain to the entitled people who rocked the boat!" He's like if the woman from Amy's Baking Company was actually successful, I swear.\

"You have to have made so many purchases from us directly to order from the store, as many times people claim to have purchased Smart Dolls only to receive counterfeits." Not verbatim, but by far my favorite lie, because that's what he calls other doll brands.

My other favorite part is that his long, rambling screeds only show up in English. shop the .jp site and it's literally just product descriptions and prices.

Secondhand, probably. I think someone linked to a store they thought Danny got the clothes for his dolls a few threads back, but I can't recall what it was.
