as someone who got into kig without knowing anyone, it doesn't really feel like it. Been a kig for about three-ish years now and I kig for like an hour every two-three months.

kig sounds fun on paper, being able to just turn into an anime girl on a whim, but the reality is if you don't have people to do stuff with and you're not comfortable going outside on your own in kig then it gets very boring very fast.

you'd think becoming a kig would open the way to getting to know other kigs though right, but at least in my case I've had no luck. I must've talked to every kig in my country at this point, actual fun conversations too talking about various aspects of kig and other shared hobbies. not just awkward back and forth greetings, but still no one seems to be interested in anything beyond one or two casual chats online.
