Japan needs to git gud. Survival of the fittest.

I appreciate some aspects of Korea and Korean culture. They embrace the young spirit, they want to improve and move on and don't bother getting stuck in limbo with random garbage but on the other hand their culture is incredibly homogenized. Very little room for originality or individuality (which you seem to get a lot more in Japan). In some aspects Japan is way more westernized than Korea.

Everything Korea does, Japan can make better. It's just that Korea can make it cheaper but still retain quality. That's why Samsung is taking over even though they just copy everyone else, it's also why Japanese animation studios are outsourcing to Korea/China.

Also, Kpop > Jpop. Jpop is simply too sugary sweet for my taste.

But Japanese music that isn't pop >> Western music >> Shit >>>> Korean music. No contest.
