They're great if, like me, you take a lot of public transit. I have a few that never get brought up as well. OverRapid is a new one that's currently in open beta and is a blast, it's really close to normal release but it's great already. Dynamix has you hitting notes on the bottom, left side, and right side of your screen and is an absolute mindfuck at first, then gets incredible once you acclimate to it. Then there's Tone Sphere, which is really hard to describe but a real treat visually and has very unique gameplay. It's currently on iOS and Android, but the Android version isn't on the play store and you have to grab it from the official site. As a fun little note, it's actually made by STA, who makes music for other games like Cytus and I believe Dynamix as well. It's a rhythm game made by a rhythm gamer and musician.

I've played a ton more, and I'm actually planning to start a website on the subject because there are a bunch of hidden gems that deserve more coverage, and I also wanna help people avoid all the shit games that get shoveled out.

Have you played the Gitadora port for mobile? It's awful tbh. I tried to like it, I really did, but Gitadora without the proper controllers is really, really not fun. It kills me because I used to have an official Guitar Freaks controller when I was younger, but after years of moving and different roommates it just disappeared.
