On the other hand, both Yuugi and Suika come out of a pagan, shamanistic era when taking on lots of guys and being hard to pleasure were seen as status symbols - not really any different from how all the old male heroes had tons of lovers. Was a symbol of strong womanhood. For example, queen Maedb back in pagan Ireland wasn't happy with any less than 7 guys a night. So to them, it sort of makes sense.

But it doesn't mean it has to make sense to us.
