It's funny and self-aware.

They do a surprising amount of building to make the omega/vampire stuff work together in universe. I don't know too much about the characters right now because I'm not too far in but I'm liking Genma so far, but that could change. The MC is clumsy and jumpy, but is also funny so I can't complain too much about that.
