Ever since we got the word Otaku in our board name we've become like a cancerous tumour where all tripfaggotry on 4chan is born. It was never, ever this bad as far back as I can remember. /a/ used to be the epicentre of tripfags and even had forced anonymous at one point, but it's not that bad now. /jp/ sucks now, even if you filter tripfags or set forced anon yourself.

Currybutt, while actually being more than capable of a normal discussion, suffers, like most trip/namefags nowadays, from the "Sion Syndrome", the condition where you're so fed up with trying to justify your every word and action to someone, you stop caring. But it goes beyond that. After stopping caring, you enter a semi-paranoid state where you start distinguishing posters to "new" and "old". These assumptions may be true or false, but they serve as a motive for response. "New" posters get an immediate "immature" response. The tripfag has already assumed everyone "old" won't take it seriously, since he has opened his true self to them before and since he doesn't care about "new" anyway, turns hostile at them. Of course blurring the line of "new" and "old" through anonymity is what causes trouble.
Suigin seem to have recently fallen into that state too.

Now, why the fuck would I attempt to "justify" CurryButt's state? Because people who actually take his "derp umad, butthurt, implying, reactionface098.jpg" response seriously end up being part of the problem themselves.
