It's a good idea to download it a day in advance, since again the mirror sucks. Took one guy like an hour or something just for that.
By telling people this in advace, we can work out issues with it all before I get annoyed at people for assuming they can do it five minutes before.

And yeah, while the OP reads a little like a general, it's just because that's what I wanted to say. Sallyfag bumped the last one off I made on the sunday, and it had fairly important stuff on it so I just made another one to preserve continuity.
My thinking was that it'd be better overall to just deal with the resurfaced accusations of making another general than deal with the loss of all the links, and having them in the OP would mean that no one has an excuse to fuck up and miss them.

Admittedly, had I known that people cared *that much* about not linking back to the last one to maintain the guise of totally not being a general thread, I'd have just not done so.

Take the chance to look at the controls since ArmA is a complex game if you are a greenie.

Swap out the .exe's you got in the GOG link with these, don't lose track of them otherwise you won't get a serverlist on the MP screen. Put the old ones in a dump in case you fuck up or want them back for some reason.

Use this keygen to generate an OA key, otherwise the server won't let you join.
If possible, try and pick a random one and not just the first one you see, since the game checks to make sure two people on the same server don't use the same key, and if they do you won't be able to connect without changing it.
