While I agree that FJ ruined the spirit of AO, I see it from an ideological point of view. The two sites you're interested in cost $50 per month for a basic subscription + you need a vpn. I personally prefer to take that route to support the creators of the content and the idols, but for someone who is only interested in consumption, FJ may be a better option since you also get access to a lot more pirated sites for far less money. Now don't take this as FJ-shilling. I'm probably the greatest opponent of centralized shit and it triggered my decision to piss off from AO.

There are rumors that Chompy is the owner of FJ as well. It's pretty clear he's at least a stakeholder. This is also the reason why people get fucked for wanting to legitimately share, since most sections on AO are in the tight grip of affiliate uploaders who also have to cut their share to guys like 'D' who run the site in the name of Chompy. They basically just work as proxies so D can avoid dmca litigation. There is no real sharing community on AO.
