I know, it's just a shame. Obviously being here I like monstergirls so I'm always happy to see one, but the real charm of them is their setting. Sure crabman's put some real shit in his setting now, but at the start when it still had all its charm, it wasn't really about the girls as much as it was this fantasy of this sudden day of revelation where an assload of monstergirls are suddenly migrating into YOUR local neighbourhood. MGE is similarly, nothing without its setting. The MG 'setting' is what has died, ironically even if MGs themselves have wider mainstream infiltration.

Crabman is a shitty writer. It's a shame too. The series had such potential in the beginning, but he can't stick to a solid story line, and in an attempt to fill the void left by his lackluster writing abilities, he constantly adds new girls to distract from his inadequacies. And that's just one aspect, I'm not even going to get into to the constant contradictions introduced throughout the series, poor transitions between chapters, and whatnot. Normally this is usually compensated for by good art and designs, but he's a lackluster artist as well in comparison most others.

You're bending the words to give them a different meaning. It's "that's some crazy X even I can't get behind." When you use those words in that manner, no matter the subject, it means: that while you do like X, that extreme version of X is too much for you. It doesn't mean you dislike X altogether. The emphasis on the "I" is to be read with exclamation, in a louder tone than the rest of the sentence. It's used to emphasize herself as the subject.

Crabman definitely puts more actual thought into his designs, it's true. I think he could put in more, but as it is, he's still doing monstergirls for a harem comedy fetish thing, so he's still bounds by that, and some of his stuff suffers for it. But he does have a lot of good ideas, and if it came purely down to "who's monstegirls designs would you rather read?" I'd pick Crabman.

KC's setting is so far up its own cotton-padded arse it's not even worth talking about. That said, visually speaking, I think he's knocked it out of the part several times with a few monstergirls.
Tentacle, neraid, living armour, hellhound, ittan-mommen, and familiar are all astoundingly good mosntergirl designs, and it's just a shame he can't keep his quality consistent, or make his writing even one tenth as decent as his art.

If you post that big sheet of all the additional extraspecies girls, I'd be able to pick out a few visual winners too. I remember the wyvern being particularly nice.
