>le moral and le themes
According to Nasu, themes are essentially everything. Stellar character/relationship writing is all there anyway and it goes beyond just the three of them.

Arc is obvious even to the willfully ignorant but how does one not appreciate all the subtle development for Ciel and Shiki? Did you miss how she's got self-hate and shame? Shiki's puppy-dog behavior(You seem to like slice of life parts so you should have picked up on this) is helping to positively enforce and change her opinions on herself and overwrite the fact that her immortality is a reminder of her sins as a victim of Roa. By the end she's asking the very body she hated for forgiveness and to not give up on her. Despite Shiki's feelings for vampires and his recognition(he was unconsciously trying to disassociate her from vampires), he accepts her for who she is and doesn't give a fuck because he loves her. He spends the story propping her self-esteem up which is exactly what she needed.

Roa is a snake that taints all he touches and whose obsession of immortality and eternity left behind an exceptional body whose nearly perfectly immortal. What he would find beauty and value in is what she found vile and disgusting. Something linked solely to sin, humiliation and tragedy. Her stolen humanity, her stolen normal life and even her stolen capability to die. She stopped living not so unlike the Dead, trapped by the past. And it's through her relationship with Shiki, who challenges her own disregard for herself that she witnesses her rainbow in the night and returns to being human. She finds her purpose.

They both find meaning within each other. He pays it forward in the end, reinforcing her own wish for atonement and the beliefs that saved him from despair. That glimpse of happiness and the life she could have had is represented by Shiki and while she doesn't believe it's her place or that she even can find forgiveness, Shiki is there to pull her forward with an unwavering heart. He who should prioritize himself above all else chooses to live and die for her, staying beside her on her journey, hoping the day will come when she forgives herself and having faith in her until the end. He's her miracle who embraced her as no one else could when she felt as if she deserved nothing. What animates her is the desire to prove his feelings are not misplaced.

His faith in her is why there is a bad end by taking things into his own hands and ending the fight with Noel early out of a selfish desire to spare Ciel pain. He understood, observant as he is, that it was not his story to end and instead prepares for the rightful star. The dynamic between Noel and Shiki here deserve its own exploration as they're two characters vying for the leading role(Nanaya stuff) which makes Shiki's choice all the more weighty. The one to put an end to it all had to be Ciel who he fought tirelessly for, always believing in her ability to triumph over the nightmares of the past that bound her. It was that belief, love and hope for their future that lets her awaken to reality and start truly living.

Pointing out how unique Shiki and Ciel are since they're literally the same person on some level through the process of becoming Roa. Shiki received the memories and records of Elesia as if they were his own. Toss in the trip down memory lane via Noel and you should see how unique their relationship is and the connection that is shared as hosts of Roa.

Moreover, Arc has a moment that Shiki falls in love with and is brought back to time and again, Ciel also has a comparable moment. That of an executor fighting a lonely, thankless yet heroic battle to protect everyone. Shiki admired that and would fall in love with it. He saw the truth of that moment before he understood it. The sorrow of a girl no different than any other, tears in her eyes and possessing a pain that he somehow understood. Of course he would, he's lost everything himself, even his past and capability to know his own loss. He sees her as the most important and lives for her. Their love for each other is complete, an appreciation both of the body and the heart. Of course as we see, she's not one to lose on love and will just as readily sacrifice it all for him. It's heavy and beautiful. Their love is that strong and the ending they arrive at in Ciel True was both hard fought, well earned and fulfilling. No matter the trials that await, they'll get through it together. Two sinners living the 'journey'/state of being of atonement. The fun has just begun.

Love is the ultimate power and answer to humanity's journey. The banal answer to life. When all else fails, Shiki will never run dry on love. They're cute and loveable as fuck together. The relationship gets full marks.

As I typed this, I realize how similar Shiki and Roa are in how they both have these images of the ones they love burned into the pages of their souls to never fade. Remake is actually a generational work.

Having empathy is what makes hamsters bad pets, it hurts when they die. And they die much faster than say dogs. Noel should keep whatever pets she chooses, I'm not her dad. I'm just pointing out their lifespan and saying not for me bruh.

I'll list some of the stuff that happens but it's really the same as usual mostly. Shiki's as strong as he's needed to be and it's highly dependent on his state of mind. He's usually at his best when he's an unconscious assassin and when his body is commanding him to kill. When his rationale gets the better of him in the end of Arc route and he waits too long to attack Roa he gets fucked for example. His killing skill is as usual hyped as a peerless work of art. How he's as equally rare as his eyes. 17ing Arc which is still about as top end and ridiculous as anything gets. Probably even more since vampires can detect thoughts apparently. Dodges Vlov's spear throw while falling and a sword attack midair. The reason for this is probably how he apparently has a specialized body designed for speed bursts and light bones that made Arach question if he was born with the mysterious ability to change his weight and float. Which explains the bizarre nature of the Nanaya techniques I guess and why not just anyone can learn them. Cuts the lines of Vlovs ice bullets including a barrage of like dozens of them. He does it twice and seemed to have less issue the second time. Blows out Roa/SHIKI in the knife fight. Easily could have killed executor Noel. There was that spider ghoul that had enough strength to deflect Arc's claws and harass her, She's weakened though so it doesn't really say anything concrete about its capability, that got yeeted and deleted in seconds. One of its attacks was faster than human perception and ability to evade but that didn't stop him from slicing it. In Ciel route the Vlov fight does a good job of showing Shiki matching the movements of Ciel and how well they function as a unit. The three had a skillful masterful dance. MBTL mentions something similar when Shiki and P.Ciel fight. I find that cute since he becomes her partner and apprentice. He's got the same chuuni death senses like detecting someone around or the most lethal attacks where death is guaranteed. There was also a weird moment when he is able to perceive things happening FAR outside his range of sight. The death of a dead Arc was killing. I always wondered if maybe Shiki had some weird additional perception because of how vivid and detailed the hotel scenes in OG/Remake appear in his mind. Probably the case. As he's approaching Vlov he sees Ciel's swing and understands it's showing him the way and he ends up avoiding Vlov's attack which was too fast for him to dodge in this route by like a millimeter so very good judgement and instincts. Also great at figuring out Vlov's ability despite the fact he's supposed to just be a normie whose all of the sudden facing physics defying super powers. Shiki also pulls off a lot of miracles that should literally be impossible. Like Arc dying when she's something that can't die or turning the 0% to 1% survival chance. Or saving Noel when it was supposed to be a guarantee she'd be killed. They mention how his body moved quicker than his own thoughts could process so even Ciel couldn't stop him in time and goes on to save Noel from having her blood completely sucked and lands a few blows on Vlov. It really made no sense. Shiki's mind just snapped and he goes from being too far away to right upon them before he realized it and we're talking a distance of at least 50 meters when he started running. He's unnaturally calm minded to where it's pointed out how bizarre it is despite fighting nightmare fuel. He sees lines of death on Ciel's barrier that utilizes the IB. He also sees curses take form and the principle of a vampire which seems very conceptual. He does some weird history reading of Vlov where it is described as an invisible light that shouldn't be comprehensible to humans but ends up being understood by him because the light gets perceived as thoughts and language he can understand. His eyes got a new application in Arc route and he spreads out some new lines so when he stabs the point of the hallway it kills the everything including Roa's lower body which was connected. He's also in the process of becoming a DA in Ciel Route so he gets the boost that comes with being a vampire like leaping over 20 meters in the air, super strength and time regeneration. He was able to avoid blows from Arc and counter, and was said to be able to keep up with Ciel as they retreated. This was before he vampirized his body further. He has Roa's memories so he has a lot of knowledge and understanding Tohno Shiki wouldn't naturally have. He also uses some magic though it's mostly to assist in moving and avoiding the atmospheric attacks. Very chuuni ending with him jumping across skyscrapers and slicing air blasts.

Let's see, I already explained how I liked that she was normal, just like me.

My favorite scene was when she invited Shiki to torture some vampire bastards. You bet your ass that I immediately decided to join her in killing them. It was great that the vampire Shiki killed still had his brain intact, so he would probably spend the rest of his life suffering in darkness or something.

And Noel's justification is great. She says that 1. Vampires want to hurt humans, so they should be killed, and (more importantly according to her) 2. The strong can do whatever they want to the weak. And she's right, why and how did Ciel take away everything that was precious to her? Because she was stronger. That's the law of the world.

So if Ciel is allowed to butcher and humiliate her family in front of her, locking her in a church where the floor was sticky and lumpy with the fresh guts of innocent people, why can't Noel torture some retarded vampires? Is there a god or a referee that says that it's wrong? No, of course not. The strong can do whatever they want to the weak.

Honestly, if I were in Noel's position, as a survivor of a massacre, a disposable pawn sent on suicide missions around the world, I would do crazy stuff too. I wouldn't care about the feelings of some brainless monsters. If I can die at any time to the most horrific murderers in existence, just let me blow off some steam.

Unfortunately, any non-moralfag behavior in Ciel's route leads to a bad end. Nasu probably wants to teach us all about karma or something.

Anyway, the way Noel got stronger was pretty cheesy, I felt like I've seen it 100 times before. She was clearly setting herself up to quickly lose in a pointless battle. That whole part was honestly comedic and childish.

Also, her vampire form is fucking sexy.

As for who's at fault? I don't know. It's true that Ciel was taken over by Roa, and she forced to watch helplessly as her body killed all of those people. So Ciel was a victim too, as much as it pains me to say it. They could have probably made up, but Noel doesn't have a boyfriend to heal her so it would be hard.

>Why do I have to pick Ciel in Ciel route, it's not fair bros it's Arc's game waaaa
>Noel willingly choosing to become a DA and going out of her way to fight and kill Ciel and Shiki is the same as Shiki being unwillingly possessed by Roa and like, strangling Kohaku but otherwise cool
>Ciel's been Roa so she knows how this actually works, unlike Noel who just assumes that Shiki is already Roa and thus should die (wrong)
Nigga's just mad he can't pick another girl, isn't he

Noel should been executed after leaving Noel during the Vlov fight. The only reason she isn't is because Ciel pulls a favor from Mario and tries to get her out of Japan

>funny way to call Ciel getting violently stabbed and mutilated.

I am pretty sure Matsuri doesn't deserve to die like the anons here say she should and just because someone has ex-fans doesn't mean they should get hate.
Noel isn't the only Holo who has a yuribait pairing nor is she the only one with a roommate who does amateur gravure and you literally couldn't give another reason to hate her.
Pekora's roommate constantly gets posted here, she constantly gets accused of all sorts of things from being a numberfag to being a fake bitch.
Korone has the sad dog doom poster who is a schizo making up bullshit about her numbers.

>Lamy JWU; worried her voice is deteriorating again
>Believes she has a cold but should be fine for now
>Has a lot of upcoming collabs and doesn't want to cancel
>Lack of sleep is a factor too; hasn't been sleeping well causing mind fog
>Was told never to clear her throat because it could damage it; alternative is to drink water
>Is thinking about joining the next APEX collab with Marine, Noel, and Korone -- said she wasn't planning to before but they're all new and it may be a good chance (but only as a sub since she doesn't really have a huge interest and just wants to collab with her senpai)
>Feels she's getting closer to Noel. When talking to her, she tried calling her "Noe-chan" in return with success, with dropping all honorifics with Marine and calling Korone "Koro-san"
>Is boasting about how she and Korone have become close friends to chat
>Met up with Marine and took up her offer to smack her ass. Marine began crying out saying it was hurting but also wanted Lamy to continue, so she did
>Bbelieves Okayu's outfit is far too sexy (positive)
>Wants a pair item like Okakoro's slippers to be lovey with
>Wonders what people would want for her own outfit: "Pajama, drunk Lamy Oji, Demon Lord, Gal, Miko uniform?"
>Wants something that can be used regularly instead of in special circumstances (New Years, season-specific)
>Wonders how she'd look with short hair, talked about how she can't see her nape and loves girls who have it showing. Lists Luna and Miko as good examples
>Also wonders how her hair would look going to the ground, talking about how long-haired beauties are also one of the attributes in her strike-zone
>Singled out Subaru's thigh-gap saying all girls should have one; noticed it when Subaru's new outfit arrived since it was more prominent
>Wants to do TikTok-style VODs and is thinking about actually using the TikTok account she made; wants someone to do it with. (Chat: What about Nene? L: Nene would do it. I think everyone in Hololive could, but Nene would definitely do it..)
>Is considering Botan and thinking about asking someone else (secret)
>Lamy wants to do a lot of things in 3D -- says it's difficult because you need around 10 people behind the scenes so you can't do anything spontaneous or regular
>Mentions 3Ds are almost time-gated since Staff have things to do too which is why they're rarely long
>Has personally met half of the talents in Hololive except anybody in HoloEN and HoloID
>Is eager to meet up with HoloEN and has a few plans prepared for when the time arrives
>Says due to current events, she hasn't been able to do much in off-collabs. She meets up with Marine a lot and is incredibly happy about it (and will see her tomorrow too)
>Is frustrated because her body won't cooperate with her - she wants to stream but is constantly forced to take breaks
>Wants you to wait for her. Next week should be better
>Wants to do a 750k celebration
>The plan is to do a reverse call-in where she calls Holomems she doesn't interact with much. Around 12 since 75 = 7+5 = 12
>Will only call Gen5 as a last resort as she wants to talk with others, but she won't avoid them because she likes talking to them too
>Is going to get back into vocal lessons. She wants to practice her singing for her Yumikin
>Admires Nene for taking so many lessons (dancing and singing) and wants to live up to her effort
>Wants to focus on learning how to breathe properly while singing since that's a large point she struggles with
>Admires Polka for her ability too. Says not only does Polka have such a good singing voice, her breathing ability while singing is incredible and wants to be like her as Polka could last forever
>Wishes to be able to get comfortable singing in front of them soon since she finds them both motivational
>Next monday is a collab with Nene, with the following thursday a collab with Botan. Lamy wants to collab with Polka too but she's been feeling unwell lately and hasn't been able to
>She doesn't know what's wrong but assumes it's due to Polka's sensitivity to low atmospheric pressure
>Another collab is with Marine, Flare, and Subaru later today on Flare's channel
>Is planning on doing a drinking stream on Saturday (JST)
>She hopes her canker sores will be gone by then. They don't hurt at all but they still show
>Unfortunately, Lamy lost 2.5kg of fat in the last two months doing a weight loss program and has a recorded loss of 5kg overall so far
>Has gained some muscle saying she's not as flabby and more like how her body was during debut
>Proclaims she now tightens her belt more now and that her waist is 6cm slimmer and her breasts are unaffected
>Loves McDonalds. Her normal order is 10pc with a medium fries but hasn't had it in two months
>You're not allowed to die. This is non-negotiable
>Says between her, Flare, and Aki, that Aki is the oldest.. but that Nene may be older than all three of them
>Says one day Nene may outlive Gura one day if she doesn't become a baby somehow
>Lamy English is cute

>KFC
Of course they have KFC with them as well along with some other food they bought from the Konbini together, and they even say that they wouldn't mind doing a fucking PekoMiko sponsor collab with KFC
>Miko's plan for today and some talk about their sleeping habits
Miko brings up that she always falls asleep before Pekora does so for today she wants to observe a sleeping Pekora. Pekora is dubious and asks if she can really do that since she always fall asleep immediately and Miko is unsure. Pekora says it won't happen and Miko asks if she is the type of person who doesn't want to show others her sleeping face, she responds that she isn't sure since she doesn't really do sleep-over often but that might be the case, she does say that she can sleep peacefully when everyone else is asleep.
Miko then says that she saw a clip of the Sankisei sleepover where it was revealed that Pekora was awake until Flare fell asleep and Pekora retells that story. Basically they were all lying in a row in their respective futons and Pekora unable to sleep glanced over at the other three out of interest and saw that Noel and Marine had already fallen asleep but that Flare was still fiddling with her phone, and despite being very tired Pekora kept glancing over to Flare from time to time until she saw that she wasn't using her phone anymore, then 10 minutes later she was asleep, only then did Pekora fall asleep herself.
After Pekora is done with her story Miko says confidently that today she'll have her show her sleeping face to her and Pekora doesn't believe she will be able to stay awake considering she even falls asleep in the studio and she wonders just how many times she has already seen Miko's sleeping face.
>Miko's home again
The topic leading into this is some short talk about if Pekora is someone who needs her own pillow to sleep properly and she isn't sure even if she has a pillow at home, Miko says that she has lots of pillows, Pekora responds with; "Really?", but it was a lie, she'll have to make do with decorative pillows instead since Miko has those while she doesn't have a lot of normal pillows, Pekora gets worried about how sleeping will go, but apparently her decorative pillows are very nice so it's fine.
She asks where they are from and they are from フランフラン(Francfranc, popular home decor store), apparently she went there together with her mother.
Pekora says that when she came into her home she got the feeling that it was a very feminine home, then Miko shows her all her tapestries, and goods and stuff and Pekora eventually mentions the eroge just being there in plain sight. Miko hands Pekora her favorite eroge and tells her she can loan it, Pekora declines.
Then Miko says that if she were to invite other Holomembers she wouldn't be able to, for example, take up the eroge and give it to them and tell them to look at it like she just did to Pekora, and that she'd probably try to clean up and conceal must of the stuff. Pekora tells her that she shouldn't conceal anything even for other members, but Miko says she feels like she would have make the place more clean than now, and Pekora says she should do that for her too then, Miko retorts that when Pekora entered her home she kept saying that everything had a "lived-in" feel too it(生活感) and Pekora continues on to say that she expected Miko to have cleaned up before going out today but apparently she barely had judging from Pekora's reaction. Miko says she was busy therefore she couldn't clean up before but that she managed to put some stuff away here and there, Pekora says it is completely fine.
>Pekora's room
The focus shifts to Pekora's room and Miko asks if Pekora is the type that likes cleanliness and Pekora embarrassingly says that her room is a mess, Miko wants her to be specific and asks how bad, Pekora says that her room is something she'd consider clean, so Miko asks if her room is 100% then what would Pekora's be, and Pekora answers with 30%.
Miko says she is looking forward to coming to that room then and Pekora vehemently rejects it saying it is on a level of being unable to invite people over because of it. Miko asks if she can't have her mother help her and Pekora says that wouldn't it bad to need help with something like that?
>Instant death from not being able to stream
A short bit with Miko saying that it was very lonely not being able to stream for the duration she was on break and that it felt like death, and she thinks that Pekora would die instantly from loneliness and brings up the fact that rabbits can die from loneliness, Pekora then admits that if she couldn't stream for 3 months she'd probably die
