1 point for game
3 points for Gura trying to make it fun but it still being mostly boring. Had it on the background like 90% of the time and still was bored and annoyed just listening in.

Jesus, the more and more points people bring up, the more retarded Cover's approach to the issue seems. Calling it inappropriate remarks is the dumbest shit ever now. It's a good thing like 90% of the archive is missing so they can't dig up more dirt.

She's average/below average as far as visiting various music clubs in Los Angeles goes, which means she's probably above-average in Jap land. And her stuff is closer to 2000's/90's (which is what her Jap Rap is based off of) which bothered more to rhyme and go with the music. She also gets extra points for coming up with some rhymes when she flubbed, live. The genre isn't to my taste but she definitely has skill in it.

Unless you're in your fifties, there absolutely was. And that's besides the point anyway, I'm not defending this shit. I'm just explaining reality to you.

Let's pretend for a moment that translations are the worst they've ever been. It doesn't change my argument at all.

>>25821786
>they need to reign in their stupid coworker when people start pointing out that he's a retard.
So you're expecting translators to just start bitching and whining at their colleagues when some EOP points out a "mistake"? When a solid 90% of the criticisms are gibberish, and the rest of the time they can be handwaved away with "my bad, I got bored and made up some shit"? How delusional are you, seriously?

>requires people be aware of the problem
But it's barely a problem to begin with, all of the examples people parrot are isolated instances. What's even funnier is that you live in an echo chamber of people whining about how there are no honorifics in their JAPANESE media and you have no idea of the reality of the situation, which is that the vast majority of the audience don't care. And anyone who actually does give a shit? Well, they either just learn Japanese, or spend their days crying about minor issues that nobody is ever going to care about.

Mentions how "nips are now the minority", and includes an image of a chat with many English speakers. This is what we refer to as "Cherry picked". At no point is this conversation seemingly referring to now chatting viewers, they don't matter, fuck em.
I reply with this >>25611149
Which references the fact that this is untrue. All of the chats are still a majority Japanese, with the exception of Astel, who has stated he has around 50% overseas viewership. I could reply with a thousand fucking images of every chat showing the relative levels of English and Japanese, but fuck you do it yourself. Beyond that, the majority of donations are still in yen, implying the donators are Japanese. Several members of hololive have also referenced their overseas viewership growing, but still mentioned that it is only a portion of their total views and not a majority.
Every measurable metric, and every metric that actually matters, points to Japanese speakers being a majority. The "90% of viewers who don't use chat" were never a part of the conversation and don't matter because they're non-interactive.
Now kindly go find a nice rope, and neck yourself you illiterate shitstain

90% of normies think charity = good. They can't imagine a charity could be anything other than a good thing used for good. Only a few "woke" individuals know that they can be used to scam, launder money, tax evade, push political agendas, help private interests, organize subterfuge and all kinds of other things. At best you would be able to explain the first 3 points to a normie but the rest are too complex topics.

Because of that it's not as easy to "pullout" without looking like an asshole. Imagine if it were a charity on a surface level it says "let's help the children!" in reality 10% of the money could go to any child and the rest goes to some other purpose. How would you be able to explain any of it and say "I don't wanna participate" without looking like an asshole? "But anon... don't you wanna help the children?"

Those were Crypton's partners and for all we know they could have requested the statement as well. If there is enough backlash maybe Crypton will choose its partners better in the future. But for now it is what it is.

If one were to hypothetically get sucked into Gensokyo, what would you have to do in order to develop a firearm from scratch?
Even assuming you had enough technical knowledge, you would still need to do a lot of networking to get the necessary materials, networking with people that have no reason to not kill you.
I'm going to spit out a couple necessary steps / random ideas
>you would need to find three large pieces of granite or iron in order to develop a perfectly level surface plate as a foundation for precision measurement, beginning with a straight edge
>you would need to develop an arbitrary system of distance units
>Rinnosuke, Nitori, and other people that are curious about items from the outside world probably have something that was made with screws. The screw threads could be used as reference for developing unit measurements
>Although you can never be too wary, I assume youkai like Nitori wouldn't kill an outside human if they have technical knowledge
>a compass for making relatively perfect circles should be easy to create, once you have a straight edge and a compass there is a plethora of things you can do with them such as construction of perfect angles and polygons
>you could also make an arbitrary measurement system from the compass and surface plate; assuming you can make a perfect wheel out of some material (I can't think of a way to be certain about how circular it is beyond eyeballing it, as we don't have a lathe yet) you can mark a point on the wheel and roll it across your straight edge, marking the point of contact on the straight edge will turn it into a ruler
>if you want smaller units of measurement, you use the straight edge to draw a line from that point through the center of the wheel, then use the straight edge and compass to construct a perpendicular bisector so there are now four 90 degree angles in the center of the wheel and four points on the circumference, any angle can be bisected with a straight edge and compass so you can continue doubling the amount of points on the outside of the wheel, therefore doubling the amount of units on your ruler
>the Scarlet Devil Mansion has a clock tower and Sakuya has a pocket watch, if you can approach without getting killed it would be worth investigating where and how the gears for those were created
>Alice stuffs some of her dolls with gunpowder, you need to befriend her somehow (you can probably only do this by befriending Marisa first) so that you can find out where she gets gunpowder
>although you will never be able to make anything as advanced as a modern weapon you can incorporate rudimentary magic into your designs (for example, you could bypass the need for a trigger or a primer mechanism by using some kind of fire magic to ignite the powder)
Not to mention you would need to find somewhere to live and a way to get food on the table during all of this.
If you have any ideas on how we could develop a lathe I'd love to hear, by the way I'm quoting myself

Click C, go into skills many and look at the bottom and you'll see you have 'bonus points'. Those can be used to level really annoyingly boring shit like fishing fast. You can get to 400% potential then use them or just say fuck it since act 2 lets you get infinite extra bonus points from AP anyways. If you are in the most up to date plus you also have spell points that work the same way, but you get extras of those otuside of leveling from an item instead.
You also can go to the feats menu and buy some more feats with points you gain on leveling.
I played this game for over 5 years before noticing bonus points exist

It's still an exhibitionist game, there's also some yuri this time because Tear Heart is in love with Touka. But the gameplay is fucked. Before you would have to be careful with how much embarrassment energy you used to gain stats because you only had a few fights and you had to win them or you'd get raped. Unless you want all that, which is fine, it's kinda the point. But you can't progress the game without winning fights.

They changed all that. Which is what I'm disappointed over. The only fight that's important now is the final fight because Tear Heart will tank everything and win in nearly 1 hit but she only shows up for boss fights. The average town fights are impossible. For example: I had 2000 HP for a regular joe not a boss fight. He did 400 points of damage. I heal for 600 points of damage. Healing costs 10 MP. I have 90 MP. I do 300 damage a hit. That also costs 10 MP. If I do damage to him when he's down to 3/4 HP, not even half or 1/4 he heals for 1500 HP.

Seriously? The only thing you can do is run away and if you lose they force you to wear whatever fetish wear they have. So if you want a white school swimsuit you have to aimlessly wander around town until you're attacked by the Libido with a fetish for white school swimsuits. If you want the naked apron you have to wander around town until you're attacked by the Libidio with a fetish for naked apron and so forth. It took me the whole game to finally get the naked with a ribbon around my neck (my favorite).

So, the RPG is pointless now, except for the final fight. You will not gain enough SE to win that one boss fight that's important out of all the fights you're in unless you become a prostitute or AV actress. I don't see how you could ever do it any other way. So if you don't want to whore yourself out you're screwed.

Each week Shine, the cute pet partner (instead of Shabi or Shami from the first two games) takes SE and money from you. It gets harder and harder to pay him off unless, again, you become a prostitute or AV actress. If there's an ending where you don't become one or the other I will be shocked. I can't imagine how anyone would do it.

So the story is okay, the MC is cute, it's the gameplay that went to shit.

It'll slow down 'till about 300, so multply that number by 3.

It's much faster to train swimming with traveling, but even then you'll probably beat the game with it in the 200 range.

If you really want to power level swimming, you'll need to burn skill points on it. Grind ap/levels in awakened dungeons and pump swimming that way. I'd recommend saving it for after you get your main combat skills up.

Getting levels (outside of version 1.90) effectively requires you to fight enemies at a higher level. This means void or awakened dungeons. However, once you beat the main quest you get an an item that lets you change dungeon levels (if you haven't entered them) So you can easily reach the 6666 Monster lvl cap with normal and awakened dungeons. Herb your stats up, get meteor to lvl 300+ and you should be able to spam levels from the staircases of these monster dungeons. When I did my skill point power grinding in my last character I was getting 1 skill level every 10 or so skill points, and getting 10-50 levels (I think, been awhile) per awakened dungeon. You can get better returns on skill points if you use plat to raise the potential before spending them.

Lets do little bit of math here for other fast capital ships armed with torpedoes.
>jervis 90 torps = j-class had 10 533mm torpedo tubes IRL or 9 points of torpedo power per tube
>hms renown 8 533mm torpedo tubes IRL = 72 torpedo power in KC
>z1+z3 71 torps = 8 533mm torpedo tubes IRL or 8.875 torp power per tube
>scharnhorst/gneisenau 6 533mm torpedo tubes IRL = 53 torp power in KC

TL:DR based on some pretty arbitrary math Scharnhorst and Gneisenau should have 53 torps while HMS Renown would have 72 torps. Of course if they ever get implemented it is pretty likely that their actual TORP numbers will be far lower (most likely even lower than King Kong K2C).

You can't stop people from shitting on people, but you CAN try to make verify that the people who are shitting on people either 1. actually know what they're talking about, or 2. are explaining why the thing that was wrong was wrong.

>they should be called out but not in some piss-contest way
Every single time anyone writes ANY sentence in Japanese they are shit on in a piss-contest way. This is the norm. It is never going anywhere. If it is going to be the norm it's still better to force people to put up or shut up about it.

>you're forgetting the 3rd possibility of idk encouragement and posting about one's progress?? or even a 4th of sharing japanese memes and media or 5th posting interesting vocab/sentence finds just to share??
Sure. You can do that too. Nobody does this. Hell I wouldn't share any media I actually liked with this thread because the response to it would be 90% shitposting. Media I actually like I talk about elsewhere.

>i mean it isn't quite as simple as that like if you just learnt all of the grammar points and what they mean up to lets say N2 or even N1 desu and then did a C6k vocab deck, you wouldn't be fluent in Japanese.
I said "flashcards or consumption," which means that at the same time you're doing flashcards - or not doing flashcards! they're optional! - you should also be consuming Japanese media in audio or text form.

>I am all in favour of people making fun of wanikani, when did i suggest that people should use it?
It was an analogy. Wanikani could be considered a "good entry point" for something people might only "find after stumbling around the internet for a year or 2." So what?

Yeah, they added a 4* armor booster, and new equipment of the same "rarity" which bumps the level up to (I presume) 90.
As for the event, it's similar to the typical air pirate raids. You farm the インノ region for the event raids to appear and farm them for event points and currencies. The Akatsuki squadron also has new story chapters.

This video really made me cringe. First all of, her voice and that avatar thing lol. But ignoring that, if you watch her videos, her method is 90% AJATT, with a few changes here and there. First of all, she doesn't give AJATT any credit, despite it being pretty obvious that it's where she got most of her ideas. Second of all, she completely fails to understand the distinction between learning and acquisition, and all the changes she made to AJATT are based on this misunderstanding. Her misunderstanding of the nature of language and language acquisition, combined with her japanese pronunciation (if you go watch her other grammar videos, she pronounces many things as if she has never heard them spoken outloud by a Japanese person before), leads me to think she must be at a high intermediate level at best. Many of her points are self-evidently false from the perspective of someone who has reached a high level of fluency in Japanese. But she spins a good story to sell to people who don't know better. I could explain to a beginner why her story is wrong, but from the perspective of that beginner, what I say would just be another story. That is why ultimately, it comes down to only trusting people who have the results that you want

>It's like getting angry at somebody for challenging people to a game of Magic.
No it's like beating someone up for no reason. You know that's a bad thing, right? You shouldn't just beat people up.
>I don't think Lying is bad in the circumstances of "this person could rip me in two with her bare hands".
She lies in a lot of circumstances, not only in front of people (who aren't allowed to kill her in this day and age anyway)
>Which would have been far better sins to point out.
She points that out. She tells her to get rid of her collection.
>Then why doesn't she tell her "STOP WORKING FOR A MURDEROUS VAMPIRE"?
Remilia isn't even murderous, dude. She's explicitly not murderous. Dangerous? Maybe, but she doesn't even kill the people she eats. It's not known how humans are "prepared" for her either, and as you acknowledge she's someone who believes that having a job doesn't excuse you of sin.
>I'm pretty sure most human villagers would burn her alive if they could get away with it.
Nigga what? What fucking headcanon. The same villagers that hang out with youkai on the regular and at most find them spooky and that's about it? The non-violent, passive villagers who are fully satisfied with a peace through technical oppression?
>my point is that she's utterly unreasonable
Well that's stupid, because she's not (unless you mean she literally cannot be debated which is true, and she won't change her mind, but it's not as if her requests are impossible to meet). "Be a better person" is not unreasonable, and again you're ignoring that she exaggerates to get this point across.
>She simultaneously thinks it's a sin for soldiers to kill people. But she also think it's a sin for soldiers to run away from a fight. Meaning she wants people to fight, but not kill anybody.
Gee anon it's almost like morality is complex.
>How the fuck is it not wrong?
She's a being that kills people.
>Mystia has no reason, expect that you enjoy the way they taste is wrong
According to you, then, it's wrong to kill cows or something for food.
>I have yet to see her do anything as evil, vile, and repulsive as killing a human for food. That alone means she's already a better person than 90% of youkai.
Tewi creates sentient life by deliberately supporting a slave ring of animals that she knows and expects will be abandoned and or abused, starved to death etc. and thus birth enough resentment to become thinking youkai under her unbreakable thrall. The resulting youkai are happy under her direct control, but must literally die first to get there.
>You don't tell somebody that's openly genocidal to cool off. You tell them to stop trying to commit genocide.
Well she says that too, that's why she says "if you kill everyone, you won't see any new dolls"
>Which means, what?
Spreading fear and not just lazing around doing nothing.
>Killing people? No, wait, she judges Medicine for that
No, she judges Medicine for wanting to kill everyone.
>VS quotes downright contradicts her story dialogue
No. She says terrorize humans more, after saying Yuuka has been terrorizing humans, youkai, fairies, and whoever indiscriminantly.
>Overall though, going by her POFV profile and her PMISS page
Try going by
-every time she's in a fighting game
-when she shows up in Three Fairies
-her fairly frequent appearances in WaHH
-her outright saying she's avoiding working
>Pretty much all of them respond sarcastically or uncaringly
After being shaken to silence which is the point I was making.
>Most of them then also proceed to ignore her advice altogether
Having your flaws pointed out won't fix them, go figure.
>Most of her advice are unreasonable

What the fuck man.

I give up. If you think
"Hey, don't be an ass"
or "Hey, do what you're supposed to do" is unreasonable, you're absolutely off your rocker. At any rate, if you don't want to believe it's not unreasonable, just recall that it's canon that she doesn't give advice for bad reasons, and nothing she says is wrong.

Special actions never miss. If you've got drain blood, blade strings, or hypnotism you can deal with hungry demons easily.

>>20741403
I agree with your premise - the early game is the hardest part and it's worth a few sacrifices to get through it faster, but going golem gunner is going to shave off maybe 10 hours of the pre-Zeome game and add about 100 hours of grinding after. The golem part isn't too bad. I don't think losing 30 mana is worth gaining 50 life in the long term (now that AP can increase life) but it's very good at the start and you get dim immunity out of the deal. I'd say Yerles is a stronger choice though, 110 life is good enough for the early game, 90 mana isn't much of a penalty, and +1 skill point per level is probably the strongest racial feat (mutant shenanigans aside). The extra points smooth out the early game and they add up to a lot once you reach void level 200 and can gain a level every few kills.

Going gunner in E+ is is definitely not optimal in the long run though. Even if you have to drop firearms and start training martial arts from nothing 25 hours in, you should do it. It'll catch up soon enough while firearms will slow you down in every fight that matters for the entire life of your character.

>>20748438
It's good, and for a firearm specialist in E+ dual wielding shields/tonfas ideal. In OO/oomsest it's not a bad idea either though you might prefer dual wielding guns instead.
