I'm a pretty average player. I've cleared all the games on normal, as well as a couple of the Extras. On a whim, I decided to try a no bomb run, thinking that there was no way I could do it. Somehow I got locked in the zone though, and made it up to Catadiotropic no miss. That includes my first ever capture of Maze of Love and my second ever capture of Starbow Break! While I choked on Catadiotropic and Counter Clock, suddenly a no miss no bomb run actually feels in reach.

I know this isn't a very impressive achievement, but as an average player it feels really nice to notice improvement. It's crazy how good I'm feeling after this run.

The same advice would work if screen was turning black for a second instead of shaking. And it probably would be less annoying.

In any of those (except for starbow safespot which is obviously unintended) you need to do more than one tap to survive and sometimes in several directions. Raiko's second is just designed in a way that you can damage it for ~30% before you even think about starting dodging.

The problem with Shou's curvy lasers was that they were fast as fuck and you had other bullets to worry about, Raiko has one fast laser that comes out when there's nothing else to dodge and another that is so slow that it might as well be Kanako's extra midboss card with the straight pellet lines. Screen shaking is a joke, you just need to find somewhere that's clear of bullets in between the shakes.

His Flandre video is done with indoor settings, so a lot of the bullets leave through the walls. The spells keep their definition better that way. Starbow Break, Catadioptric, and And Then There Will Be None look especially well-done.
