I don't think anyone realizes how fucking insignificant vtubers actually are as are corporate vtuber agencies like Cover and Ichikara. Cover has no power in situations like this, they wouldn't even have power if this happened on youtube. Anyone actually think youtube really cares that Coco is the #1 superchatted channel worldwide? Hell no, 1 million USD is a lot to us and to the streamer and vtuber community, but to Youtube that is nothing. If Coco did something youtube didn't like, they wouldn't hesitate to ban her and Cover wouldn't be able to stop them at all. We brag about how FBK is the 3rd most subscribed vtuber on youtube(if you consider both Ai channels as one channel) but in reality, that sub count means absolutely nothing to youtube as well. Cover wouldn't be able to handle youtube if youtube suddenly decided that they didn't like something a holo said and people think they can somehow cause some ripple reaction by standing up to China, how fucking stupid are you people, the only thing Cover would ACTUALLY gain by doing that is a few "WOW HOW BRAVE" posts from internet losers who obsess over this shit, while most major news sites wouldn't even bother covering it because Cover and vtubers are so irrelevant to anything in the business or political world. Meanwhile, because these companies and this industry is so small, they really do rely on as much money as they can possibly get, and by trying to look big by making some statement like that, they'd be causing more harm to their company than good.

It's been 21 days since Mano Aloe graduated.
I'm still furious that she gave up and made her mother and 5th gen cry and feel ashamed. Think of all the time and effort that others went through so that she could have her debut, and she took their combined efforts and spat it back in their face.

I have the exact same feelings. I'm kinda resentful at the hyper talented holoEN making the awkward former failure chuubas feel insecure. Korone and Pekora built themselves up from nothing in an incredible way, they have fanbases becuase of what they did while at hololive and trying to find a personality and niche. They worked insanely hard to get cover to where it is, and now they're taking hyper talents that are going to completely overshadow them in a month. I don't speak Japanese so I watch more holoEN anyways but I wish they weren't so high spec.
