Oh, I see. Well, lets just say that every single person I associate with who is into anime AVOIDS those clubs like the plague.

In highschool, I attended a meeting once. A bunch of loud fangirls and creepy fanboys and a small amount of TRUE fans who were genuinely interested and not completely embarrassing. Nobody was interested in watching Fire Tripper but the few legit folk like myself.

Flash forward to college, and it got even WORSE. Take the highschool scenario, add in even more ugly and socially-retarded folk who can barely get anything of value out of their mouths because they are NEET-folk trying to become social and are showing that they are truly interesting beings.

I attended maybe one or two meetings, along with my own friends, and shortly thereafter deciding shitsux and we should just...not associate with the weirdos outside of conventions. I may be a complete weeaboo, but I'm not disgustingly over-the-top and I know how to shut-the-fuck-up about it for a while.

My first networking programs were servers and clients. Simple shit where the client would send an arbitrary file over the network and the server which would handle multiple client connections and store/verify the file transfers then terminate connections.

It can be a bitch, but network programming is pretty cool at times.

It has come to my attention that the good people of /jp/ are in desperate need of some conventional philosophy. Watching people interrupt serious discussion about language study with unrelated outbursts and what-not.

I'm open for questions. My Japanese isn't perfect, but my method of study is pretty good. I live a relatively normal / NEET lifestyle balance, and manage to put in 10-12 hours of listening a day, as well as do scattered yet organized kanji studying.
