The loli model is pretty distinct, the body proportion is around 5 heads as opposed to 6.5 heads and her legs/waist are noticeably slimmer. The face and some of the hairstyle assets are obviously recycled, but a commissioned humanoid model is almost always going to have recycled aspects anyway. Add on the things that need to be adjusted due to the different anatomical proportions and the new physics objects (twintails, entirely different clothing, backpack), and it's basically a whole new 3D rig. Her main model is also really high quality, it doesn't have much in the way of physics but the shading and texturing are good enough to completely mog Tamaki and Kagura Mea when they're side by side.

There's going to be a big league tourney so interests from streamers isn't gone yet. One of the reasons aqua didn't stream league as stated by her ownself is she thinks there is no viewers interested because they don't know how the games work, streaming the game would make viewers confused as they might not understand the plays she makes. As for participation, i didn't expect her to join vsai with startend either, it's probably depends on if she gets to team up with people she is familiar with like mea/rion/shishi/debi (they team up with her in lol in the past)

NTA, and you guys like to memory-hole this, but Aqua was never the socially awkward shut-in like she pretended to be. Not only is she best friends with Mea and Shiina, and not only are there roommate videos of them walking Tokyo streets together at night, but Aqua had a boyfriend when she was 16.
