Looks like the full patch will be out in less than a month~

The hacking for SR was in a sorry state; the game would randomly crash, fail to display lines, etc. I found another hacker willing to fix the mess so there will be a beta patch of some sort (the editors want to go over the thing again) whenever he gets done.

yeah we're doing himawari next

Well, I meant just sometime next month, not like as soon as November rolls around. My bad.

Personally I thought the subclimax in Chapter 3 was a bit stronger than the one in Chapter 2, but the ending was a tad weaker and it probably could have been pared down a thousand lines or so without losing much.

Still quite enjoyable.

No partial patch for chapter 4.

Full thing next month.

Enjoy.

Full patch near the end of November, probably. 11/25 is the day the game was released, so that sounds good.

Oops, I accidentally included old versions of some of the scripts in that patch. It's not a big deal, but there are some missing words and typos and such.

Here's a fixed version; http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?5gztdtnny0e

I'm pretty sure Nagato looked at the encryption on this. Bug him at #tlwiki@irc.rizon.net if you intend to keep this up.

Yeah I was just trolling I don't really think it's objectively better than all of those other games. It looks like my troll was successful at least lol.

Probably at least Houzuki's chapter.

Fuck Muv-Luv, fuck Cross+Channel, fuck GSS, fuck Baldr Sky, fuck G-Senjou no Maou, and fuck every other game you niggers want translated. Sharin is better than all of them.

Anyway.

Readme: http://www.tsukuru.info/sharin-readme.txt

Please refer to the readme for installation instructions, translation notes, and more.

This release constitutes approximately 10% of the entire game; around 50% is translated at the moment. Editing is lagging a bit behind because I got a late start, but I don't foresee any issues with reaching our release goal, which is the end of the year.

If you're interested in how much of the game each chapter is, here are some hard numbers: 1: 10.76% 2: 24.01% 3: 27.72% 4: 20.78% 5: 16.73%

Please enjoy.

I'd like to note that none of us have said anything about the translations actually being stopped.

All we have done is taken down pages.

That's as close to a statement as you'll get for now.

I'm not at liberty to say at the moment.

Interpret that how you wish.

We've only taken down projects with consent from the staff members. If you'll notice, we didn't touch Jingai Makyou or Gekkou no Carnevale because we've had no contact with their staff about the matter.

Try again later.

By the way, I have daily backups of the entire database stored in multiple locations and I've taken special care to preserve all four deleted projects.

minori didn't provide a real demo for ef TLT, so we've produced one ourselves. It contains the first 15% of Chihiro's route. I think it functions pretty well as a demo!

Grab it here: http://nnl1.com/ef

It's translated, of course. This is probably the only demo we'll do for TLT, by the way. You can check out the total translation progress on the above page, as well.

See you again in a few months for ef. And maybe soon for something else.

Yuuko's route is indeed in the latter tale.

>> No.2289498 [View]

I can see taking issue with the enemy crab joke, but whining about the phrase "Captain Obvious?" Seriously?

The translation is supposed to sound like people speaking in English, not people speaking in literally translated Japanese (other than flavor text such as "oniichan" that has no non-awkward English equivalent).

Well, if it's any consolation, the latter tale's translation will probably lean toward the literal side.

By the way, it was really hard editing some of Hiro's lines, because he isn't voiced ;_;

Uh. This is a standalone release, not a patch. You don't need the original game to play this.

>> No.2254502 [View]

>>2254470
No, we didn't even make it this far before the translator bowed out last time. This release contains all of the work that the old translator did and the portion that one of the new translators had to finish.
